Many providers within occupational health will deploy a near vision automated test offering a pass / fail result. We are qualified to judge each patient individually and more importantly, provide the answer for each patient that may require visual correction. We provide a VDU report for each employee assessed.

Increasingly the modern workforce is been challenged with more digital displays. Hoya offers a BlueControl lens which minimises the now recognised stressor to the eyes “blue light”.

Facts about Blue Light

Facts about Blue Light

LCD/LED computer and television screens, laptops, smartphones, tablets and GPS
devices all emit blue light. Although blue light in itself is a natural phenomenon
– it is present in daylight and helps us to stay awake – over-exposure can cause eye
strain, eye fatigue and even sleeplessness.
HOYA BlueControl is a coating that can be applied to your glasses to help combat
these effects by neutralising a significant proportion of the blue light that is emitted
when using digital devices. This should help to provide more comfortable, relaxed
vision with enhanced natural colour perception.
For more information about HOYA BlueControl visit www.bluecontrol.eu
At Opticalrooms, we are official stockists of HOYA BlueControl so if you
would like to discuss how it could be incorporated into your employee
benefits scheme please contact us today. Click below if you would like us to come onsite to your workplace
